Dan Sikounnavong

Dan Sikounnavong is Vice President of Operations at Leap Dynamics. He joined the roster in August 2015, in the airline's third year, and holds administrator rights over the crew area: the approvals queue, the fleet, the routes and the logs the operation runs on.

Running the operation

The operations desk is where a filed flight becomes part of the record. Every PIREP that arrives, by hand or from acarsy, is reviewed before it counts towards a pilot's hours, rank and the monthly competitions, and Dan holds the administrator rights that review is done with. The same desk manages the fleet the freight board draws on and the routes it generates from.

Operations also means the standard the flying is held to: the manifest and load sheet on every departure, the approval of what was flown against what was dispatched, and the logs that show what happened when something did not go to plan.

On the line

Dan flies as LEA101 and holds the rank of Captain, earned on the same ladder every crew member climbs: hours and flights, approved one filing at a time.
